Improved microphone support

If you connect your AirPods or bluetooth microphone, we now automatically use those as your microphone. We've added support for Voice Isolation to reduce background noise. Turn on Voice Isolation for Detail in your iPhone Control Centre (swipe to the middle from your the top-right corner of your screen).

We’ve added a new AI Content tab to generate content suggestions to share your video. If your video has a minute of speech, we’ll automatically generate a title, description, and captions for LinkedIN, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram.


Create unique videos with the new 1:4 split view layout and new blurred shape. Use the 1:4 split layout you can for example to combine a wide angle with a close-up shot for great podcast or interview clips, or apply the blur shape to any of the layouts for a distinct effect.

If you record in Multiplayer with two iPhones or iPads, we now automatically align audio and video from both devices after recording. Both microphones and cameras will always be 100% in sync, even if your network is slow or unstable. Record with the microphones of both iPhones or iPads, or connect external microphones to each device for a super portable podcast or interview setup. You can even use a second iPhone or iPad as a wireless external microphone.


We’ve also improved the timing of automatic captions, and made tons of smaller bug fixes and improvements.

New Backgrounds

Try out the new Backgrounds. We’ve refreshed the backgrounds you can use to hide the chaos is in your room with the green screen layouts. Replace your background with subtle gradients or pick on of the realistic, stylish rooms for your next video.

No Delays

Behind the scenes, we made some big improvements to how we record and process video. Audio and video should now be perfectly in sync, also when you use an external microphone.

Teleprompter Speed & Horizontal Mode

You can now adjust the speed of the Teleprompter and record horizontally. Tip: Rotate your phone left to get the perfect position for the text, close to your selfie camera.

Save or Share Transcripts

In the Export menu you’ll find a new option to save or share the full transcript of your video. Save the transcript as a Note, share in a message, or copy the transcript to use in another app.

Remote Control

In the Settings, you find new Camera Controls. Use the side volume buttons of your phone to turn on the camera and start recording. An ideal shortcut to start recording with two volume clicks, or when you use a remote control or headphones to start and stop recording.

You'll find a new Teleprompter button on the recording screen. Add your own script and it will automatically start playing when you hit record. The text will play on your screen to help you record your video more easily, but will not show up in your video.

Responsive Combo Scenes: We've totally revamped the way Combo Scenes work so now when you switch between horizontal and vertical mode, the Combo Scene layout changes automatically. You can now also add a background and inset to any combo Scene.
