How to Use Quick Cuts in Detail

Quick Cuts is a powerful feature in the Detail app that automatically generates short, ready-made clips from your longer videos or podcasts. These clips make it easy to extract and share key moments without manual editing. Follow this guide to find, preview, and export your Quick Cuts effortlessly.

Accessing Quick Cuts

You can find Quick Cuts in two ways:

1. Through the Export Menu

• If you have recorded or imported a podcast or long-form video in Detail, you can generate Quick Cuts during the export process.

• Navigate to the Export menu.

• The app will automatically generate Quick Cuts for you.

• Select and export the clips you want to use.

2. In the Story Editor

• Open your video in the Story Editor.

• Here, you can edit your transcript and refine your content.

• At the top of the transcript view, you will see a selection of Quick Cuts.

• Easily preview these clips and choose the ones you want to export.

Exporting Quick Cuts

• Once you’ve selected your preferred Quick Cuts, you can export them instantly.

• Use these short clips to share highlights on social media, embed them in presentations, or repurpose them for other content.
