Detail is optimized for Apple Silicon and works best on recent M1/M2 machines.

Due to recent improvements in Apple's screen sharing and system extensions, we also recommend running Detail on macOS 12.3 and up.

Detail for iOS, our companion app that lets you use your iPhone or iPad camera as a camera in Detail, works on the iPhone 11 and up. Some camera features like 4K video support and blur work best on recent iPhone models, like the iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro. On older devices and/or in some conditions like higher temperatures, you might experience slower performance.
