They have a longer and shorter version. If you plan on shooting horizontal and vertical mode we recommend to get the longer version to capture stellar vertical content.

Ulanzi ST-28 mount

The Ulanzi ST-28 has the almost perfect solution. It's fantastic, except for one minor flaw. When you buy it, the bottom plate is reversed, which prevents you from charging your phone while it's mounted vertically nor does it allow you to connect an external microphone.

Now, here's where our DIY excellence comes into play. So, what did Paul do? He took a Dremel, a steady hand, and took matters into their own hands. By carefully cutting a small part of the bottom plate, they reversed it. Voilà! Now, your phone can securely stick to the mount, and you can easily connect an external microphone or charge your device.
