A few weeks ago we launched Multiplayer recording, which unlocked instant multi-cam recording with two iPhones or iPads in the same room. Now, we’re expanding multiplayer recording with remote recording. Invite anyone to join you from anywhere to record high-quality video together, in one tap.

Share an invite with a friend or guest and instantly record high-quality video together. We make it crazy simple to create record great video interviews, record a video podcast, or collaborate on your next video.

Record high-quality video and audio

If your guest joins your recording using our iOS app on iPhone or iPad, you will automatically record high-quality audio and video on both devices. After recording, the audio and video recordings will automatically sync. While your high-quality files sync, you can already preview and edit your video.

Guests can also join your recording in any browser. If a guest joins on web, they won’t record any local audio and video, but you’ll record the incoming video and audio stream in the app.

Record for free

Remote recording is free in Detail. You don’t need to upgrade to a pro subscription to be able to record with two devices locally or remotely, and there are no limitations to recording time or number of recordings. We want to make recording and basic editing accessible for everyone, including a great selection of automatic captions, easy editing, and most of the video layouts.

On top of our free offering, our pro subscriptions offer additional caption styles, editing options, layout options, and some advanced export options.
